 Spray Paint

 Weekend Project

  • Paint in a ventilated area.
  • Make sure you clean the surface you are going to paint. The paint won't adhere well to the surface if there's dust.
  • It is recommended that you use primer. It helps get an even coverage.
  • Shake the can before you paint. Keep shaking through out the application.
  • Don't spray too close or too much. Make sweeping motion to get a thin, even coat. Keep spraying till you are satisfied with the results.
  • Let it dry thoroughly.

Shelf Project

The Shelf Project

We have an open house floor plan. With that sometimes come the awkward giant walls, which can be challenging to decorate. I sketched out what I had in my mind, and later with my husband's help mounted the shelves up on the wall. This way you can display your artwork and decoration pieces to create cohesive look that can help decorate a large empty wall and make it look cozy.

Here is my spin on it. In the picture that you see below, I took some of the presents from under the Christmas tree and placed them on the shelves using them as decoration, it looks very festive. I use family photos, and change them seasonally in the frames. In the fall I decorate with pumpkins and other fall decorations. Well, you get my drift. It's a fun, easy, and inexpensive way to spruce up your home.
